Covid-19 vaccination drive is at its peak in India. Many people still get nervous when it is their time to get vaccinated. But there is nothing to worry about provided you take care of some do’s and don't before and after getting vaccinated.

Do’s

Below are some do's you must consider one day before and after getting vaccinated.

1. A healthy diet: Eat a balanced diet rich in protein and fibre. A healthy diet will empower your immune system.
2. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water and keep your body hydrated.
3. Sound sleep: Take proper sleep at night. Improper sleep can increase the chances of restlessness.
4. Practice Meditation: Meditation and yoga help you strengthen your body.
5. Stay Comfortable: Wear light and comfortable clothes.

Don’ts

These are the don’ts for one day before and after getting vaccinated.
1. Do not consume alcohol and caffeinated beverages.
2. Do not skip meals. Skipping meals will reduce your metabolism and you can even experience tiredness and weakness.
3. Do not self-medicate: Consult a doctor in case of fever or any other side effect. Self-medication can even worsen the side effects and it is thus not recommended.
4. Don’t Panic: Do not stress out and panic. You must not believe any rumour. Rely only on authentic sources. Stay positive and calm.
